My group has chosen Malaria to be our final project topic. First, we have divided up the work that so we can finish the project quicker. We have researched for the information of the subtopics which are the cause, its history, epidemiology, pathology and the treatment. After finish researching, we help together to organize the information that we have and start to do the product. For the product, we have a presentation, model, and also the poster.
From doing this final project, I have learned how to work as a group and don't wasting time. During the process of working on the project, we have discussed and helping each other a lot. And because we have decided to divide up the work at first, we can save a lot of time in researching and organizing the information. In this lab, I paired up with my friend to create a model of DNA by using candies. We use the strawberry stick as DNA strands, jelly bear as nitrogen bases and toothpicks as a hydrogen bond. This lab helps me understand more about the structure of a DNA.
